Holiday Punch

This holiday punch is the perfect drink to serve at your next holiday party. Not to mention, it makes for beautiful decor on your dinner table or kitchen counter.

Holiday Punch

The holidays combine two of my favorite things: getting together with friends + family and also making some of my favorite holiday recipes. Today I’m sharing with you a gorgeous holiday punch recipe that all of your party guests are sure to love. This recipe has been used by generations and has truly stood the test of time.

This year I wanted to add a fun twist to my classic punch, but I couldn’t quite figure out what. When I was out sourcing some vintage for the site, my eyes fell on this beautiful glass punch bowl. I knew that would bring a classic, vintage touch to this holiday staple. The punch bowl filled with cranberries serves as an instant centerpiece for your table, a win/win for this effortless entertainer.

Finding my Grandmother’s original type-written recipe card in her bundle was truly a treasure. As a part of the bundle passed down to me, I had forgotten about this specific recipe and the memories it lent me. I altered it just a bit with the garnish to make it extra seasonal this time of year.

For the ice cubes, we simply filled the tray with cranberries and pieces of rosemary and then filled with water before freezing. These turned out just gorgeous and fun, but you could also use a bundt pan for more of a classic ring if you so choose.

Holiday Punch

  • Author: Heirloomed Collection

Description

This punch recipe is sure to the talk of your next holiday party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 750 ml Prosecco or champagne
  • 1/3 cup simple syrup
  • 2 cups cranberry ginger ale
  • Ice
  • Rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Have plenty of ice ready to go. More than you think you’ll need. Fill your punch bowl half full with ice and have some ready for individual glasses.
  2. Next, add in the cranberries and pomegranate seeds.
  3. Add in cranberry juice, sparkling wine, simple syrup, ginger ale and top with a splash of cranberry ginger ale.
  4. Pour into individual cups and use fresh rosemary as a garnish.

The deep red color ended up looking beautiful against the glass details. Adding a hint of greenery gave it just the holiday twist it needed. It’s fun to garnish each glass with a sprig of rosemary too, or a skewered toothpick full of sugared cranberries. I would love to hear your favorite holiday drink recipes + fun ways you like to serve them. Let me know in the comments.
