Fall Florals

This time of year I start to get sad that all of my blooming hydrangeas and garden flowers are past their prime and not worthy of bringing inside any longer for arrangements. However, my herb garden continues to be a staple from which I pull greenery for arrangements in the Fall, bringing the flavors of the season to the table in a variety of ways to make beautiful fall florals.

Fall Florals

Today I’m using a few fresh springs of sage from the galvanized bins outside my front porch. I love using sage this time of year because my great grandmother has a signature French recipe for Sage Stuffing at Thanksgiving and the smell brings me back to the holiday every single time.

I’m using a super cost effective and otherwise pretty boring grocery-store sleeve of garden roses, in a subtle blush pink color, which plays nicely with the soft sagey green of the herb leaves.

For my vessel I am repurposing a little silver serving piece from my collection. It’s small and low which is great for a breakfast table or smaller round, allowing you and your guests to easily chat and fill the table with foods to enjoy.

Love to know your go-to arrangement for Fall #HEIRLOOMED
