I love simple classic recipes or ingredients that work to make other recipes. So, this week I wanted to share the special way I make Granola. While it is yummy by itself, it is also an ingredient in many other recipes or a great topping for yogurt, cereal, or any other quick snack.
I love using ingredients in my recipes that I can trust and know the history of. A brand I just love is Bob’s Red Mill. The founder is still working hard at his business even in his 90’s. I love supporting a “small” business that made it big time. if you checked our Instagram lately you’ll see we recently shared an awesome contest they have going on. Head on over to enter to win, if you haven’t already.
Granola is also so easy to make in a large batch to save for later. As a mom of three I am constantly looking for ways to make meal times easier - and this is one of them. It stores so well in a classic glass jar making it a great food gift as well. Perfect for a teacher present, a welcome gift to a new neighbor, or a yummy treat to a friend.
On of my favorite ways to eat Granola is with some yummy greek yogurt topped with blueberries. It really is my favorite quick breakfast for spring. I’d love to know what you pair your granola with or any ingredients you have to add to it. Let me know in the comments below.
