The smell of the holidays is what sometimes brings me back to my childhood the most. The fresh fragrance of the garland, pies baking in the oven, and of course the smell of those fresh cinnamon brooms we used to have.
I love a touch of cinnamon, adding it to an aroma pot on the stove, cinnamon rolls (of course) and today I'm sharing a simple + tasty holiday cake that is just as beautiful as it is yummy.
Chocolate Cinnamon Cake
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 whole eggs
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for garnish)
How to cook Chocolate Cinnamon Cake
