With spring and summer come fresh fruits, and I couldn’t be happier about it. There is just so much you can do with fresh fruit, from fresh jams to desserts like this delicious strawberry shortcake, the options are endless. But I must say there is nothing quite like freshly squeezed juice.
Today I’m wanted to share my Grandma’s classic recipe for Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, right from the bundle of recipe cards I inherited from her. I was so thrilled to find this one. I make this lemonade week after week as my kids are constantly wanting to set up a lemonade stand outside. Adults and children on our street have come to love this lemonade and I love that they have their own entrepreneurial spirt.
I recently added this classic recipe to our Family Recipe Collection tea towels. The recipe is on a classic 100% white linen fabric. It is the perfect addition to freshen up your kitchen for summer, and it pairs so great with our new butter tea towel as well.
I would love to know what drinks get you by in the summer and if there is anything fun you like to add to lemonade to give it more flavor. Let me know in the comments below!
